riboPOOLs technology
riboPOOLs consist of complex mixtures of 3′ biotinylated oligonucleotide probes. These probes are designed to specifically hybridize to all ribosomal RNAs of the target species. Ribosomal RNAs bound to riboPOOL probes are efficiently removed from samples by streptavidin-conjugated magnetic beads. RiboPOOLs work independently of RNA polyadenylation and can be applied for any subsequent application, e.g. ex. NGS library preparation.
