KACTUS specializes in the design and manufacturing of recombinant proteins and enzymes with high purity and activity for various fields, including antibody discovery, immunotherapy, gene therapy, and mRNA‑based therapeutics.
We carefully select the products in our catalog based on the unmet needs of scientists in drug development. The approval of each protein is based on product quality and supply reliability.
Each protein is developed using their patented protein‑engineering platform, Structure-Assisted Multiplex Sceening (SAMS™). Individual protein structures are optimized through advanced bioinformatics, structural analysis, and 3D modeling. Multiple protein constructs are tested under various expression conditions to optimize activity, yield, and configuration. Demonstrating the strength of our protein‑engineering platform, KACTUS was the first company to recombinantly express the multi‑transmembrane protein Claudin 18.2. Since then, we have added hard‑to‑express antibody drug targets such as CCR8 and CD24.
