The enzyme is highly resistant to PCR inhibitors in whole blood samples, and can amplify whole blood concentrations up to 40%. Coupled with carefully optimized 2 × Phanta Blood Buffer V2, Blood Direct PCR Kit V2 can efficiently amplify genome fragments up to 10 kb from whole blood samples.
