CellVia-3000T

CellVia is a product that measures the amount of living cells using WST and can be used for cell viability, proliferation, and cytotoxicity assays. WST, the substrate of this product, is a highly sensitive water soluble Tetrazolium Salt that is well soluble in water and reacts with the dehydrogenase of living cells to produce orange soluble formazan. Dehydrogenase, which reacts with WST, is an enzyme present in the mitochondrial electron transport system of cells that are active metabolically and is only effective in living cells. Therefore, the production of formazan has a linear correlation with the number of living cells, which can be determined by measuring absorbance (450 nm). Usage: 1. Prepare a cell culture solution, dispense 100 ul per well into a 96 well plate, and incubate in a CO2 incubator for about 24 hours. 2. Add 10 ul of test material prepared in various concentrations to each well. 3. React in the same incubator at an appropriate time according to the experimental conditions. 4. Add 10 ul of CellVia to each well. 5. Let it react in an incubator for about 0.5-4 hours. 6. Shake gently for about 1 minute before measuring the absorbance. 7. Measure the absorbance at 450 nm using a microplate reader. (Reference wavelength 600-650 nm)
